Specialisterne, in partnership with the HG Foundation, has launched our Academy, an 8-week instructor-led program dedicated to preparing autistic individuals based in New York and surrounding states for careers in IT.
Interested in Engaging with Job-Ready IT Academy Graduates?
The Specialisterne US Academy prepares autistic learners for entry-level IT and technology roles through a comprehensive blend of foundational IT knowledge, applied learning, workplace readiness training, and an introduction to artificial intelligence. Participants gain practical experience in:
- IT fundamentals: hardware, software, and networking
- IT support and troubleshooting: problem-solving and security basics
- Foundations of AI and machine learning
- Real-world applications of AI in the workplace
- Ethical and responsible use of AI and technology
Graduates leave the program ready for roles such as IT Technician, Help Desk Support, and Desktop Support Assistant, equipped with hands-on experience, applied project work, and professional skill development.
