IBM and Specialisterne have announced an expansion of their partnership, enhancing digital skills for over 200 neurodivergent job seekers by 2025.
IBM has deepened its collaboration with Specialisterne Australia, a social enterprise focused on enabling employment opportunities for neurodivergent individuals, to help more than 200 neurodivergent job seekers build essential digital skills by 2025. This initiative leverages IBM’s global learning and skills platform, SkillsBuild, which offers tailored training in high-demand fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data science.
Through SkillsBuild, learners can access flexible, self-paced courses, hands-on projects, and industry-recognized certifications, making it a valuable tool for people at various skill levels—including those re-entering the workforce or changing careers. The program is designed to remove traditional barriers to employment and accommodate different learning styles and strengths, particularly those common among neurodivergent individuals such as autism, ADHD, and dyslexia.
This expanded partnership builds on IBM and Specialisterne’s ongoing efforts to foster inclusive work environments and support the long-term success of neurodivergent employees. Specialisterne not only provides recruitment and training support but also delivers coaching and awareness programs to ensure workplaces are equipped to embrace diverse talent.
